This is my first time in therapy, what is it like?

First, congrats on taking the first step! Therapy is a non-judgmental, safe space for you to have an open conversation with a therapist on life’s difficulties. As your therapist, I will invite you into session with a warm, person-centered approach. We begin by getting to know you and making sure you feel comfortable in the room.

What should I talk about?

Therapy is a safe space for you to explore the difficult challenges and questions that life may throw at you. There is no topic too big or too small within the therapy walls.

What should I expect?

Each therapy session may look different, and thats okay! You can expect to feel validated and heard, while simultaneously challenged for the purpose of helping you grow and achieve success on your goals! Through therapy, you can also expect to learn more about yourself! Cool huh!
